Managing Social Media Channels in Posttely: General Steps

Posttely allows you to connect and manage multiple social media channels from one central dashboard. Learn how to effectively manage all your social media accounts.

Accessing Channel Management

  1. Log in to your Posttely account

  2. Navigate to Channels from the main menu

  3. View all your connected channels in one place

Viewing Your Channels

The Channels page displays:

  • All connected social media accounts

  • Channel status (Active/Inactive)

  • Channel type and platform

  • Connection date

  • Quick actions (Edit, Activate, Deactivate, Delete)

Managing Channel Status

Activating a Channel

  1. Go to Channels page

  2. Find the channel you want to activate

  3. Click Activate button

  4. Channel status changes to Active

  5. Channel becomes available for posting

Deactivating a Channel

  1. Go to Channels page

  2. Find the active channel

  3. Click Deactivate button

  4. Channel status changes to Inactive

  5. Channel is temporarily unavailable for posting

Disconnecting a Channel

  1. Go to Channels page

  2. Find the channel you want to disconnect

  3. Click Delete or Disconnect

  4. Confirm the disconnection

  5. Channel is removed from your account

Organizing Your Channels

  • Group by Platform: View channels organized by social media platform

  • Filter by Status: Filter to show only active or inactive channels

  • Search: Use search to quickly find specific channels

  • Sort: Sort channels by name, date, or platform

Managing Multiple Channels

  • Connect multiple accounts from the same platform

  • Manage personal and business accounts separately

  • Organize channels by workspace

  • Set different channels for different campaigns

Channel Permissions

  • You can only manage channels you own

  • Team Owners and Admins can manage team members' channels

  • Other team roles can only manage their own channels

Best Practices

  • Keep channels organized and properly named

  • Regularly review and clean up unused channels

  • Activate only channels you're actively using

  • Keep channel connections up to date

  • Monitor channel status regularly

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues:

  • Check channel connection status

  • Reconnect channels if they become disconnected
