Set Day-Wise Default Posting Times in Posttely
Schedule smarter with a default time for each weekday
Instead of one posting time for every day, set a preferred hour and minute for Monday through Sunday. Posttely applies the right time automatically when you create or schedule content.
Why use day-wise defaults?
- Match your audience — post earlier on weekdays and later on weekends
- Save time — no manual clock adjustments for every post
- Stay consistent — the same reliable slot each day of the week
Configure your preferences
- Log in to Posttely
- Go to My Preference from your account menu
- Under Default Posting Times, set Hour and Minute for each day (Monday–Sunday)
- Confirm your Timezone is correct
- Click Save Changes
Where defaults are applied
- Create Post — when you pick a schedule date, the time field updates for that weekday
- Calendar — scheduling from week or day view uses the matching day’s default
Example
You might set:
- Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM for business-hour engagement
- Saturday–Sunday: 2:00 PM for weekend audiences
Each time you schedule on a given day, Posttely pre-fills that day’s time so you can publish faster.
Notes
- You can still change the time manually for any individual post
- Times follow your selected timezone in My Preference
- Leave a day blank if you do not want a default for that weekday
