Using the Review and Approval Workflow
Posttely's review and approval system ensures quality control and prevents mistakes before content goes live.
How It Works
- Create Post: Team members create posts as usual
- Submit for Review: Posts are automatically sent for review (if enabled)
- Review Process: Managers or Admins review the content
- Approve or Reject: Reviewers can approve or request changes
- Publish: Approved posts are published automatically
Who Can Review Posts?
- Owners: Can review and approve all posts
- Admins: Can review and approve posts
- Managers: Can review and approve posts
Review Process
- Go to Review Posts in the sidebar
- View pending posts awaiting review
- Click on a post to see details
- Review content, images, captions, and scheduling
- Add review notes if needed
- Approve or reject the post
Approval Process
- Go to Approve Posts (if you have approval permissions)
- Review posts that have been reviewed
- Give final approval for publishing
- Posts are published according to their schedule
Adding Review Notes
Reviewers can add notes to provide feedback:
- Suggest improvements
- Request changes
- Provide context
- Communicate with the post creator
