How to Create and Manage Teams
Creating Your First Team
Teams in Posttely allow you to collaborate with your colleagues and manage social media accounts together. Here's how to get started:
Step 1: Create a Team
- Navigate to My Team from the main menu
- Click Create Team
- Enter a unique team name
- Click Create
You'll automatically become the team Owner with full administrative privileges.
Step 2: Invite Team Members
- Go to your team page
- Click Invite Member
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite
- Select their role (Admin, Manager, Editor, or Content Scheduler)
- Send the invitation
Team Roles Explained
- Owner: Full control over the team, can manage members and settings
- Admin: Can manage team members and approve/review posts
- Manager: Can review and approve posts, manage content
- Editor: Can create and edit posts
- Content Scheduler: Can schedule posts but cannot publish directly
Managing Team Members
- View all team members and their roles
- Change member roles as needed
- Remove members from the team
- Resend invitations if needed
