Connecting Your Bluesky Account to Posttely

Bluesky is a decentralized social network built on the AT Protocol. Connect your Bluesky account to Posttely to schedule and manage your posts alongside your other social media accounts.

Prerequisites

  • A Bluesky account (sign up at bsky.app)
  • An active Posttely account
  • Your Bluesky username and password (or app password)

Step-by-Step Connection Guide

  1. Navigate to Channels: Go to Channels from the main menu
  2. Click Add Channel: Select Bluesky from the list of available platforms
  3. Enter Credentials: Provide your Bluesky username (handle) and password
  4. Authorize Connection: Posttely will authenticate with Bluesky
  5. Confirm Connection: Review the connection details
  6. Verify Connection: Your Bluesky account should now appear in your channels list

Using App Passwords (Recommended)

For better security, use an app password instead of your main password:

  1. Log in to Bluesky
  2. Go to Settings → App Passwords
  3. Create a new app password
  4. Use this app password when connecting to Posttely
