Instagram is a visual social media platform perfect for sharing photos and videos. Connect your Instagram Creator or Business account to Posttely to schedule posts, manage Stories, and grow your audience.
Prerequisites
- An Instagram account (Creator or Business profile)
- A connected Facebook Page (required for Business accounts)
- An active Posttely account
Step-by-Step Connection Guide
- Convert to Business/Creator Account: Ensure your Instagram account is set to Business or Creator (not Personal)
- Connect Facebook Page: Link your Instagram account to a Facebook Page
- Navigate to Channels: Go to Channels in Posttely
- Click Add Channel: Select Instagram from the platform list
- Authorize with Facebook: You'll be redirected to Facebook (Instagram uses Facebook's API)
- Select Instagram Account: Choose the Instagram account you want to connect
- Grant Permissions: Allow Posttely to manage your Instagram account
- Confirm Connection: Review and confirm
- Verify Connection: Your Instagram account should appear in your channels

- Business Account: Best for brands and businesses
- Creator Account: Best for influencers and content creators
- Personal Account: Cannot be connected (must convert first)

Converting to Business/Creator Account
- Open Instagram app
- Go to Settings → Account
- Tap Switch to Professional Account
